SMS Messaging Terms

Program description

We Take Orders sends order-notification text messages to business owners. When a customer places a pre-order on a vendor’s storefront, the vendor’s owner receives an SMS with the order details and the customer’s contact number so they can prepare and confirm the order. This is transactional, owner-only messaging — customers are not enrolled and are not sent automated texts.

How owners opt in

Text alerts are optional and never required to use We Take Orders — every order always appears in the vendor’s dashboard. An owner who wants texts can opt in at wetakepreorders.com/legal/sms-opt-in by entering their own mobile number and checking a consent box that is unchecked by default and clearly labeled optional. The form can be submitted without checking it. Only the owner’s own number is enrolled; no one else receives messages from this program.
